Now to find a drawing program that works better than GIMP. I'll have to find a way to install Paint Tool SAI on Ubuntu...

I really like using GIMP. Even in Windows. Guess I grow accostumed to it xD

Paint Tool SAI kind of works with WINE, so maybe you can try to run in with WINE?

With GIMP or Photoshop my lines come out really shaky (as you can see in the drawing...). That's why, back in the day, I switched from Photoshop to Paint Tool SAI.

Oh! Didn't realize that. Usually my shaky lines are my fault, not the program's.
So is Paint Tool SAI better, or it's just a question of personal preference? I may have to try it, hmm.

SAI has some kind of "line stabilizer" or whatever it's called, which is really helpful for us people with shaky hands :_D So a lot of artists prefer to do the lineart in SAI and the colouring in GIMP/Photoshop. I might end up doing something like that.

Don't worry, if it works I'll let the world know... and I'll produce tons of silly art to celebrate it.
